Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • recognize strategies to improve patient care, avoid litigation and enhance defensibility in the event of a lawsuit;
  • explain how good communication protocols may enhance patient safety and decrease the chance of radiology malpractice claims; and
  • discuss common causes of medical liability claims in radiology.
